4. Mixture - I.C.O..
5. Ignition - Off.
6. Fuel Selector - Off.
7. Flaps - As Desired.
8. Airspeed -
85 MPH (Flaps Down)
100 MPH (Flaps UP).
DURING FLIGHT
1. Fuel Selector - Fullest Tank.
2. Fuel Pump - ON.
3. Mixture - Rich.
4. Alternate Air - OPEN.
5. Engine Gauges - Ck.
When Power is Restored.
1. Alternate Air - Closed.
2. Fuel Pump - Off.
FORCED LANDING
1. Airspeed - 91 MPH.
2. When Area Can Easily be
Reached - Speed 83 MPH.
3. For Rough or Soft Areas
Gear Override - UP.
4. Flaps - Full.
5. Master - Off.
6. Mixture - I.C.O..
7. Ignition - Off.
8. Fuel Selector - Off.
9. Belts / Harnesses - Tight.
LOSS OF FUEL PRESSURE
1. Fuel Pump - On.
2. Fuel Selector - Fullest.
PROP OVERSPEED
1. Throttle - Retard.
2. Oil Pressure - Ck.
3. Prop Lever - Low RPM.
4. Airspeed - Reduce.
5. Throttle - Maintain Below
2700 RPM.
EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION
1. Master - On.
2. Circuit Breakers - Ck.
3. Panel Lights - Off(Daytime).
4. Gear Bulbs - Ck.
5. Gear Selector - Down.
6. Emergency Gear lever -
Down Below 100 MPH.
7. Gear Lights - Ck.
If Electrical Power is lost use above procedure. Gear lights will not be Illuminated.
FIRES
ENGINE FIRE DURING START
1. Starter - Crank.
2. Mixture - I.C.O..
3. Throttle - Open.
4. Fuel Pump - Off.
5. Fuel Selector - Off.
ENGINE FIRE DURING FLIGHT
1. Fuel Pump - Off.
2. Mixture I.C.O..
3. Ignition - Off.
4. Fuel Selector - Off.
Accelerate to 150 MPH to Blow Fire out.
5. Forced Laanding - Perform.
ALTERNATOR FAILURE
1. ALT Circuit Breaker - CK.
2. ALT Switch - Recycle.
If there is No Output
3. ALT Swtich - Off.
4. Elect. Load - Reduce.
5. Land - A.S.A.P..
SPIN RECOVERY
1. Power - Idle.
2. Ailerons - Neutral.
3. Rudder - Opposite.
4. Elevator - Full Forward.
OPEN DOOR
1. Airspeed - 100 MPH.
2. Vents - Close.
3. Storm Window - Open.
4. Door - Close and Latch.
